Tsuen Wan District Health Centre Service Overview 2026/27

Tsuen Wan District Health Centre (TWDHC) is founded on three core concepts: “District-based,” “Medical-Social Collaboration,” and “Public-Private Partnership.” Its philosophy is to shift healthcare from a “treatment-based” to a “prevention-based” model, emphasising that “prevention is better than cure.”

In 2026-2027, Tsuen Wan District Health Centre will consolidate its existing services, including the Chronic Disease Co-Care Scheme, women’s and men’s health services, elderly health services, weight management services, etc. It is also expected to launch student health services in 2027.

The 2026/27 Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme will commence soon.
To make vaccination more convenient for the public, our Tsuen Wan District Health Centre will provide free flu vaccination services to eligible individuals 💪.
After receiving the flu vaccine, it takes about two weeks for the body to produce enough antibodies for effective protection.
